Following rules of Renku (linked verses) established in the 16th century, haiku and dance are linked and alternated, as one inspires the other, and composed as an improvisation. Special Guests: Four poets from the Haiku Society of America, Terry Ann Carter, Penny Harter, William Higginson, and John Stevenson, will join the program. Two musicians, Yumi Kurosawa and James Nyoraku Schlefer, will also offer improvisations.
